Aquaponics
A self-contained food system that uses fish manure to fertilize edible plants, growing in the water. The outcome is fresh fish and vegetables on a weekly basis. This type of system supplies communities with fresh healthy food that can provide them with essential nutrients and animal protein. The aquaponics system is built with a sustainable power source from either solar, water or wind. HEAL teaches willing individuals the skills and knowledge necessary to continually produce the sustenance that will feed their community without harming the environment.
